We were delighted to stumble upon La Juanita for breakfast in Le Mars. Although the ambiance was unremarkable, the Mexican food certainly was...Huevos Estrelladas with a delicious homemade spicy red sauce, beans and rice, and homemade pickled carrots on the side with avocado. Yum!
I’m still giving five stars because it’s authentic and delicious, but I will say that the Pierce location in Sioux City issuperior to this one. I’d probably say the Storm Lake location is also better but regardless, all la Juanita’s food is fantastic! The service is incredibly fast, the meat is piping hot, and the staff is friendly. I tend to go for the steak tacos with onions and cilantro - can’t go wrong!
I visited late and they were still open, amidst other establishments that were already closed. That's definitely a plus. I requested a meal that wasn't advertised on the menu and they accommodated. Another plus. The person that took my order was very kind and efficient while offering options. The food I ordered was different in taste from what I'm used to, but I'm not from here so that's just a personal preference. Nonetheless, the food was still very tasty. Overall, 5 stars!
Amazing authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend. The steak burrito is a top favorite of our. Guacamole is freshly made and best I have found anywhere.
The food was delicious and the service was fast. I had the torta de lengua, mojarra and tacos de tripa, they were all good.
Great food building could use work. However do not let the looks deceive you food is great. The people are friendly. I have been here 2 times so far. Great price of food too
Just driving out of the parking lot and me and my friend are RAVING about our experience. We were greeted with a friendly smile that attended to all of our needs. The staff was helpful and efficient! I’ve always gotten tacos here but tonight I got a taco and a tostada, both of which were delicious and were ready so quickly!
This place is bomb but some how have lost their touch a bit, but still great food
